I was hoping that others would offer other good similar locations!
I think I might have to finally replace the one on top of my Coghlan's whistle...

I was looking at this from a different perspective, I prefer a small liquid filled compass on the top of one hiking stick and a mono pod screw on the other to hold the camera. I recently upgraded the sticks for a nice drop of 4 to 6 oz per pole (dropped the shocks) and lost a few features I can add back in. I will Dremel them back in. Why?
Anyone can follow a trail and blazes, I don't always stick to the trail as you might have guessed and I noticed several folks accidently backtrack over the course of two hours while bushwacking, go right back to the starting point. They had a compass and sun to keep track of and messed up. Can't walk a straight line, or something close to a line.

I have also a good compass - so I don't need one.
But I looked at the products and must say: wow - great stuff!
I think also that the prices are very fair..
I think I would buy my next compass there. :banana
