anyone know of hikers who are going to hike the IAT this year?
The only one I'm aware of is Lil' Budda (http://www.trailjournals.com/about.cfm?trailname=9885)
Budda started in Key West Florida January 10th, and just summitted Katahdin July 22nd, still moving north now from there.
I was talking with Lucky on the phone yesterday and heard some stories about Budda in the Whites, the final race to the summit with GPS, etc. Budda's quite the prankster apparantly; I enjoyed meeting him at Trail Days and hope to see him on trail next year.
Four plus months of trail time was plenty enough for me this year; Budda's coming up on 7 months now and going strong. Quite the guy.
