Will begin at U.S. 64 near Franklin, NC on August 2nd and hike to Newfound Gap in the Smokies. I figure to be out about 10-12 days. If anyone plans to be on that part of the trail during that time frame...let me know. I average about 10 -14 miles per day.

Do you have schedule made up for this hike? If so, I would like to see it....I very well might be interested walking a few miles with you.

Just replied to your Pvt. Msg and discl;osed my tentative schedule. ......can always modify it if you are interested in going the whole way or just a part of it
