I don't think she is still alive. I do hope her family finds her body for closure.

I agree, it doesn't look good.
I've been to that area.
People were friendly although there is a bit of a war going on in Nepal again with the Maoist's again trying to achieve more power and control the govt.
But, I was there during their similar war in 2004 and they pretty much left all tourists alone.

Anyone could fall off a trail into deep ravines in Langtang area or anywhere in the Himalayan mountains of course.
Missing for 2 1/2 months does not sound good.

I hope she is still alive, My upstairs neighbor is an avid hiker and he has a trip planned to Nepal in September, I'll have to mention this article to him. My prayers are with her family.

This is the second international hiking trip gone wrong in the news lately.
First the hikers in Iran and now this.

There is a facebook group for those interested in more information - just search for her name. They are selling dragonfly bracelets, holding a raffle, among other things in order to raise funds for the glitter girl. Closure will never come until they have found her, however that may be. Please keep them in your thoughts.
