According to the folks who now run the Iron Master's Hostel, all is going to plan. Bids for contractors are being sent out and major work should start soon. The next work trip is for July, 24th. The "new" Iron Master's hostel should open sometime in April, 2011. This group is motivated and seems to have a keen sense of what they're doing.
Who is it that is running the hostle now?

As of mid-September, they are hard at work getting the building into shape for next year.
It is not certain that it will be ready because the kitchen requires quite a bit of expensive work to be up to code. Money is an issue for the land trust that is doing the work. I'm sure donations would be appreciated.
