I have just finished putting the report of my Aug. 30 - Sept. 14 trip to Maine on my web site. The hike was several things:
1) Hiking the 100 Mile Wilderness
2) Summiting Katahdin
3) spending 6 more days in Baxter to climb many peaks.

Here's the link: Maine Trip Report (http://members.bellatlantic.net/~vze2h6gy/papabear/AT2004_Maine_Adventure.html).

There's lots of pictures - except when it rained. We had great weather for Katahdin and several other areas in Baxter, so there are lots of photos of those spots. Here's the link for the photo albums for the trip: Maine photo albums (http://gallery.backcountry.net/papabear_2004_Maine_AT). This link shows separate albums for the 100 Mile Wilderness (162 photos), Katahdin (134 photos) and Baxter peaks (83 photos).

Enjoy

Looks very nice. I enjoyed it all and am crying to return.

Very engaging and enticing, great photos though there were seemingly some troubles with camera's sharpness but taking into consideration the extreme conditions those photos were taking in (humidity was obviously just one of the factors) they are genuinely nice!

Great report and photos, Papa Bear. We've been following in your footsteps for the last several years (we were about 10 days behind you in the Whites) as we attempt to section the entire trail. Next year from Monson to Katahdin will finish us up.

Take Care,

Tim

Papa Bear -- I must have missed this post the first time around. Great report & pictures! I'm planning to hike the 100-mile Wilderness next summer & your report has really got me excited for it!
