Sorry if this thread could have gone elsewhere but I looked and could find nothing related. Planning a SOBO hike next week from Swatara Gap to maybe the Susquehanna River at Duncannon (thirty-some miles?). There is a shelter at Rausch Gap (4 miles after starting out) but then the next shelter is 22 miles. Are there any places to put up the tents for the night along the stretch from Rausch Gap to, say, Rte 325? And how are the springs running?
