Thursday (I think) I was reading some 2010 journals at trailjournals.com & found a quote about how to judge if you have gone not far enough, just right or too far.
It read something like:
If you get to the shelter & have a tired smile on your face, you went far enough.
If you get to the shelter & Immediately start complaining about the shelter, you didn't go far enough.
If you get to the shelter & start crying, you went too far.
BUT, I want the quote exactly as the author posted it & I KNOW the above misses the fine nuances I got from the original post. I also want to give credit to the poster AND I CAN'T FIND IT or remember who's journal it was on. Does anyone know which journal it was on???
HELP!
