I have the whole month of October open to hike. Looking for recommendations. Have completed MD, MA, CT, GA and most of NY. Looking for suggestions for the other sections of the AT. Maybe a chunk of Virginia?

This section which includes many vistas is absolutely beautiful in October with the Fall foliage peaking around mid -month in the higher elevations.
You will have cooler night time temps in the 40's , maybe even the 30's in the higher elevations in southwest Virginia so be prepared .
It will be a rewarding hike -- Enjoy !
