So, a few months back I ordered the OES 8 x 10 flat sil tarp. I had no clue as to what to do with it when I ordered it, it just seemed cool!So I did a little reading on different pitches and what nots and when i got my tarp I still had no clue. http://www.backpacker.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/rock.gif
I pitched it mostly in the A Frame and was happy with it. What I was not happy about is that I couldn't pitch it in the half pyramid which is what I really wanted to do with it. I needed a tie out in the middle of the side but the tie outs were spaced so that one did not fall in the middle. Also, I realized that I wanted some tie outs on the top of the tarp to pull the tarp out and away from me rather than trying to use my poles inside the tarp to push the tarp out, you know for more head room.
So, I recently sent the tarp back to Brian and he added the extra tie outs as well as a few hang tabs underneath. I got it back today and it rocks!
