Anybody run in these? I'm looking for an upgrade to my current shoe and these look pretty good.

I used them before switching to trail runners. They were pretty comfortable with a wider toe box.

I haven't ran in those. Have you tried the Montrail Masochist yet? Most people find the weigth/toughness factor very favorable. Inov8's Roclite are pretty good too.

I'm leary of Montrails having (literally) shredded 2 pair in less than 500 miles. Inov8's are awesome - I've got a pair of 370's and a couple pair of 390's but have never tried their low-top shoes. The only thing I wonder about as far as their low tops go is if they'd provide me with enough support.
And they don't have a non-goretex shoe that I know of since discontinuing the 370s.

As far as I'm aware most of Inov8's shoes are non-goretex.

I've got the Targhees, and they served me well in the Mahoosucs, although I did notice some minor separation between sole and upper. I would think theyre a bit on the heavy side for running though. the mids kept my feetdry, though and were extremely comfortable carrying 35 lbs.Nice wide toe box, and my toes never hit the front of the shoe on the steepest of downhills.

If you like your previous Inov8s, why mess with success?

I think this is the shoe for you:

Or this, if you want something lighter:
