Anyone know if it's allowable to park overnight at the info. center at the Delaware Water Gap?

Yes, I've left my car there a couple times, no problems. Let them know you're gonna leave it there. You can also park at the Dunfield Creek lot, on the other side of I-80, by driving the underpass

Just like A-Train said above, I've left mine there many times and never had any problems.

Can you park at the Dunfield Creek lot for a week or two? Any break in problems there?

I would park at the Gap, near the visitor's center. More traffic, more rangers around means less vandalism (usually).

if you are worried about vandalism you can also park at the coppermine trail lot about 3 -4 miles north on the park road inside the DWG NRA. Its much less used & travled & is pretty much unkown except by those who actually take advantadge of the hiking trails inside the DWg. The Coppermine trail intersects the AT about 4 miles east up onto the ridge and is an interesting & secnic trail on its own. You should still stop at the visitor center & let the Rangers know you will be leaving your car there. Also you could drive up to the Mohican Outdorr Center & Park there.

Ditto on parking at the DWG VC. Between Kayaing and backpacking Have left my vehicle there several times for several nights at a time with never a problem.

Had my car broken into once there while out on a day hike-- but at the campground. A mother with two young ones was caught on film.

Next time, I'll make sure not leave food in the backseat. ;-)
