Not to hijack the thread but the Mountain Goat in Manchester is ran by some first class folks. They were a tremendous help to me when I was there... Hooked me up with shuttles to Wallingford and wouldn't take any money* and I bought a pair of shoes from them and when they blew out 200 miles up the trail they shipped me replacements no questions asked - even shipped my old boots back home for me.
* Please don't go in the store and say "10-K says you do free shuttles." I think the stars were just lined up right - we hit it off pretty good and talked for a long time before I asked about a shuttle. I'm pretty sure they aren't in the business of doing free shuttles. :)
