I was wondering if the Greasy Creek Friendly was still open. Anybody been there lately? Last I heard CeeCee was having financial difficulties, not to mention a strange neighbor.

Glad to hear that! For me and my daughter, that was a great start/stop/R&R spot for our section hikes. Well worth the side trail hike. We had absolutely no problem with the neighbor, though he did have dogs that barked as I hiked by, but many places have that. CeeCee was a delightful, kind, thoughtful hostess. She even offered to shop and have special requests at her place for us when we arrived.
