What is up with all the spam in the threads (ie wow gold). I'm rather new to this site. Is this common on here, or is it a new thing?

I've only seen it maybe twice or 3 times since I've been a member, but I don't surf every thread. Moderators seem to keep a good handle on it.

The spam gets dumped on the site in one short burst and its takes the mods awhile before they have a chance to remove it. Its probably already gone.
There are 7 posts from the same poster for Wow gold on the site at this time, all posted in 2 minutes time around 5 this morning. You can report them by clicking the ! icon on the left. I don't think the Mods are up yet this morning. The only way to stop it is to put new members on monitored status for a time like some sites do.

Not the Spam you eat, the spam that fills up your inbox ;)

Dang, I was all set to start talking about spam singles on a bagel with an american cheese single! My favorite breakfast!
But yeah, they dump em in a few minutes, they get reported pretty fast and then the admins clean them up as soon as they see the reports. The system works well.
I just love to eat Spam when hiking..Single slice packs are great
Spam is like $2.89 now. Should have stashed some.

Not trying to be a smart&&&, but are the 5 wrappers the same weight as the can? I know I can eat a single or two for lunch, but I don't think I want to eat an entire can! Maybe if I was sharing with another hiker. .... I've seen smaller cans as well.
