Look at this smile!!

My Alps Mountainerring Cascades Pack is in. You have got to see this smile. This is a great compliment to my Deuter 65+10. Though it is abit on the heavy side, (5 pounds) it fits just right and I cant tell I have anything on at all. being a larger and heaver pack than the Deuter, I see it as a good winter pack. It has many attachement points. Tons of room and organization. I like the fact the hydration port comes out on the side and not directly behind my head like some packs. The top compartment can be detached for short hikes away from camp, Or I dont have to use it at all if I dont have too. I really like this pack.

Now I got to get out and give it some trail testing.. Love it!!:banana

I want to add, even though I have been packing for many years, as with most things I am not a know-it-all. So I give a lot of credit to Cool Breeze, Pirate, and everyone else at Mountain Crossings. Last year when my Kelty pack finally bit the dust, these guys gave me a lot of tips on what to look for in a pack. Thanks Guys!!
