sorry, about last post hit the wrong button

I hiked into the shenadoah the other weekend on the northern end of it.

Wayside spring right outside of the park is a seasonal spring right now there is a little water with a small pool. You would want to bring down a cup.

Heading into the park the fist spring you are going to get to is indian run spring. You have to take a small walk on a fire or access road for it. The spring has a great water flow but isn't piped.

As I only took a day hike I didn't get a chance to go check out the other ones. Have a great hike.

Thanks for the info. I'm going to be hiking the central portion this weekend, and will be passing by several of those sources.

I'm in Waynesboro right now & the rain is coming down in buckets. There's 2-4 in. expected in the next 24 hours. This should really help the water situation. :)
