hey I'm trying to figure out who im going to be hiking with come 2012. I have just mad a Facebook page that i hope all who are planing to hike the Appalachian Trail in 2012 will join.
The name of the page is 2012 Appalachian trail Thru-Hikers.
Well, I've checked with work and they have agreed that I can have a 6 month sabatical in 2012. So, I'm going to try to do it. The trail has been a goal of mine since I was about 15 yrs old.
Ill be heading out around feb 20, 2012 for a thru hike. I did the Georgia section in 2007 but am planning on doing it again because its a nice section

nobodys hikin in 2012. pandemic. and marshal law. and fammine. plauge. etc. sorry. truth.
There will be no AT in 2013 some say. :D ??!!
