Hanover services

This year the Hanover Area Friends of the AT (Hanover, NH) introduced a hiker shower/laundry in the recreation center, a Chamber of Commerce brochure about hiker services, a membership number at our grocery store (The Coop) that will produce funds for further hiker services when hikers give the number 7000 at the register (all as reported earlier on Whiteblaze.net by MileMonster). The group is meeting on October 19 to review the season and to plan for next year--both services for hikers and our general education program about the AT.

I'm also going to produce a public service announcement for local community access television in order to recruit more participants and funding for the group. To that end, I would appreciate receiving any of the following:

--photos of hikers en route, especially in Hanover
--comments about the Hanover experience
--comments about the value of friendly folks on the trail and trail magic
