I believe about the second week if I remember right.

out of curiosity what does the discount cover, certain merch. or every regular priced item in the store, etc.? definitely was planning another visit. a 20% discount could help alot

I know boats and bikes are excluded, and probably ski equipment, car racks, and other big ticket items.

Electronics like GPS are usually excluded.

Novara bikes (which are a subsidiary of REI) are usually eligible for the 20% coupon. Check the fine print on the coupon for details.

I got my catalog with the 20% of coupon in the mail yesterday. I was gonna use it towards a kayak, but it says in the fine print that its not redeemable towards hard-shelled boats! :mad:
I guess I will just go to Academy Outdoors! Take that REI!

How cool is this... I'm leaving Wilmington today heading back to Erwin and I drive right by the Asheville REI.

10-K, the Durham store is right off 40 if you're going that way. Much closer than the Asheville store. But, you're probably on the road and won't see this.

I'm out the door in about 20 minutes....

I take 95 to Florence, SC, then 20 to Columbia, SC where I pick up 26 which takes me all the way to Erwin, TN. 26 goes within a half mile of the Asheville REI.

Good to know about the Durham store though - I do get by there from time to time. :)

Most likely not.. there is still the Winter Sale which usually happens just before thanksgiving. Don't think it is going to have a coupon though :-/

Check your store's garage sale. The REI here has it's next garage sale Dec.4th.
