parking at noc

do I need to contact anyone at NOC to park there. If so who do I contact? I will be parked there for 4 1/2 days

I have parked at the NOC several times for a few days. You can go by their office down on the highway across the street from the outfitter store. They will probably ask you to park in a lot farther back off the main area. Once I left my car there without asking, and parked it up by the shower house, and bunkhouse.

According to the info on-line you should call and make reservations if you plan on leaving a vehicle overnight. Phone # 1-888-905-7238.

I have done what bessiebreeze has done several times...they told me to park up by basecamp. Never had a problem and just dropped by the office across from the outfitters before proceeding. Never did a reservation type thing. However, NOC never seems to do the same thing (proceedure) from year-to-year and it may be worth it to call ahead anyway like johnnybgood recommends. :)
