Previous owner burned a 2.5mm hole in the upper chest. The hole behind it in the liner is about 5 mm. I can sew this interior hole closed, but need a nylon remedy for the outer hole.

I'm looking for suggestions that will allow me to remedy this hole (black fabric) and keep using the garment. Ideas are appreciated (especially ones that don't involve duct tape!).

I'm on my second DriClime and I love it (to death). Besides burn holes, mine now has rips from cactus and acacia. I haven't tried to fix it yet, but I would try this first: http://www.amazon.com/Coghlans-711-Nylon-Repair-Tape/dp/B000E26H5G. Good luck.

Thanks Garlic! I found those exact patches at that price 30 minutes ago in Wally World. They don't include black, so I'm holding off. I'm wondering if a dab of black silicone would work well?

Stick on or iron on--Round the corners, or cut a circle, and sew it also.

Maybe you could use a patch--like one that says 'AT' or something.

Black electrical tape. The good stuff.
