time of day matters. if you went through the Sevierville/Gatlinburg area around 2am I'd think 441 to Franklin would work, otherwise find a way around even if you have to go out of your way. a lot.

You are probably going to be looking at I40 to Waynesville/Clyde then US 64 to the Franklin area during the day.

Or do Gatlinburg and 441 in the early morning.
