Crockpot to Dehydrator – Beef Burgundy
3 pounds beef, cut in small chunks
1 16 ounce can diced tomatoes
1 large onion, diced
1 cup red wine
1 14 ounce can beef broth
1 teaspoon thyme
1 teaspoon rosemary
1 teaspoon tarragon
8 ounces mushrooms, sliced
2 cloves garlic minced
1 pound pasta, cooked
Place everything except the pasta in the crock pot and cook on low for about 8-10 hours. Have the stew over noodles for dinner. The rest goes in the dehydrator.
Break up the beef in tiny pieces or shreds as you put it on lined dehydrator trays. I ran my dehydrator for about 6 hours at 165.
This rehydrates very well.
