This is a topic I haven't seen batted around here. I've been reading about it a bit but I was wondering if anyone had hiked any or all of the International Appalachian Trail. Furthermore, has anyone done a thru that included the IAT? It looks like some beautiful territory but I would think that there would be some serious weather considerations.

Yeah, I read about him on another site. Amazing man but I would think that someone here would have at least done a section of it. I mean, with all the talk of how depressed people can get after returning from a thru hike I would imagine that just seeing that the trail continues beyond Katahdin would be pretty tempting. The landscape look truly beautiful and even alien-like in places where the geology includes precambrian rocks.
