Hey, anyone know if the Neels Gap (Walasi Yi) hostel is/will be open over the next couple of weeks? I'm getting ready to do a 4 day trip and wanted to stage out of there. If so, who is the caretaker?

Winton Porter and his crew at Mountain Crossings are the best!!! When I'm in the area I just love to hang out there even when I'm not hiking! The hostel in this old building is cozy - and if you want gear advice these guys won't mince words - they'll tell you true - even if it's not what you want to hear! (Tell 'em "Sir-Packs-Alot" sent you!)
