Hey guys, I've been using a 45 degree bag by field and stream for the longest time. Even in winter I still use this bag, and never have a problem. For whatever reason I love sleeping when its freezing. In the winter I sleep with all my bedroom windows open, and I frickin love it. As much as i love this bag for its size pack size, and min weight, its poorly made. The zippers always come undone, and the fabric is starting to show signs of wear. So im just wondering if anyone has any exp. with light, and quality made sleeping bags with a 40 or 45 degree rating. It would also be a plus if its a long bag, since im 6'3.

My perfect bag would be a non-mummy, long, light weight, and super compressable.

thanks! :banana

Marmot pounder, in a long weighs 1lb 6oz's. I like you am a very hot sleeper and this has been a great bag for me. Most will say the temp rating is wrong, but for me I love the bag!

i had the Mountain hardwear Phantom 45 ...
... but it was not warm enough for me purposes, so i sent it back and got a phantom 32.

the phtanom 45 is TINY ... weighs 17 ounces ... and is of superb quality.

but for me, i simply needed something warmer.
