Which direction are you hiking toward? Ive taken some of the trails from that area on into the Smokies. I have also hiked that area along the MST. What sort of information are you looking for?

First of all, we were wondering if it's possible to car camp at Junaluska Gap. Are there tent sites w/fire rings there? How far from the parking area? If we wanted to depart the gap Saturday morning and hike a loop that would bring us back to Julaluska late Sunday morning, which route would be a good one to take? 15-18 miles would be good for us.
