All,

I've had a pair of Asolo FSN 95's for about 2 years now. I LOVE the boot!

I've had them in the Tetons, Yellowstone, Rocky Mountain, Devils Tower, along the AT, and many more places.

I've always told myself when I end up hiking the AT I'm stocking up on these and intend to use these all the way.

I've primarily used these for PACK free hiking. How have they worked out for those with a pack?

For someone that likes these boots, would you say they're doable for a thru-hike?

I'm just a little worried that I haven't "tested" them fully. And maybe a little worried how they'd hold up with a backpack on. Asolo doesn't rate them as one of their backpacking "boots" but their backpacking boots are a lot heavier that the FSN95.

My 2 years old pair looks new to me today and have heldup well, I can only hope they'd work out well for a thru-hike.

I look forward to what you guys have to say.
