Just wondering if there are any websites out there that have a complete listing of the GSMNP trails with in-depth descriptions?

As I am sure you are probably aware, but I will say anyway...the foremost compilation of Smokies trail descriptions, IMO, is the little brown book (http://www.amazon.com/Smokies-Mountains-Natural-History-Association/dp/0937207152/ref=sr_1_4?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1291597331&sr=1-4). I believe this is what most people use to do the S900M (http://900miler.com/).

Thanks for the book info. I figured I could order something and have it here in a week or so. I'm looking for backpackers who do detailed trip reports and post their trail descriptions online.

The little brown book is probably the most complete compilation of trail descriptions, but the best person to talk to about hiking in the Smokies is Johnny Molloy (http://www.johnnymolloy.com/).

I know Johnny and he can recount pretty much every trail and it's description off the top of his head. He is also a phenomenal storyteller.

GSMNP landforms, http://www.cs.utk.edu/~dunigan/gsmnp/ (http://www.cs.utk.edu/%7Edunigan/gsmnp/) is another source you can look at for information on the Smoky Mountains.

Another vote for the little brown book. Its descriptions of trails and campsites are very good.

But be aware, some trails have change and campsites have been added/removed since the last publishing of the little brown book (although there is a brand new 2010 version of the nat geo map)
