Hurricane mtn manway

has anyone hiked the Hurricane Mtn manway (from Cane Creek trl to Beard Cane Trl)? I know a portion is maintained by blackberry farm, and is easy to follow, but is the western portion passable?

I just trying to make a loop with Cane creek to Ace Gap and want to know what i'm getting into
