yes, I will be staring February 21 starting from the tip of Springer Mt. if it is passable. I am traveling from Brunswick GA.

I wonder how the early Feb starters are fairing? AT weather app shows conditions at Springer as cold and wet for the next week. Good way to start :)

Hiking thru winter gives a good perspective about how easy it is to hike thru non winter. Adversity at the start can be a good thing. If you don't quit.
