Well with the last snowfall here,in Greeneville,I'm sure it's starting to stack up on the trail. As of 2 weeks ago there was about 2" near 4000ft.Then it snowed about 10".Then it snowed more.Right now I'd say above 4000ft there is about 18"+.As winter goes this could all melt away in a while. This is just like last winter, and if this is any indication of things to come, there could be a lot of leftover snow in late Febuary.Winter is strange in the mountians here and one never knows what the weather will be like from month to month.Hikers wanting to start early may have some bad weather&leftover snow to deal with.Could be a few inches or a few feet.Come prepared or call prior to leaving to get the local conditions which could help you adjust your last minute preparations....:welcome

The whites got 3 to 4 inches of rain and just about washed out all the snow plus it was 50 degrees today. That is darn unusual for Mid Dec in northern NH. I expect the snow will be back in a few days.
