View Full Version : BA Insulated Air Core Repair Tips?

Have a BA insulated air core that developed a leak in the seam right where the inflation nozzle mates to the pad. I've tried patching with McNett Seam Sealer, but have only had partial success - the leak is much smaller, but it still leaks! Because of the location, its difficult to get a patch to completely cover and seal the hole. Has anyone else experienced this and been successful in making the repair? If so, I'd love to hear some suggestions.

Thanks,
Gladiator

If its in the seam or nozzle BA should cover it no questions call or e-mail. If its a hole or tear on the skin it's up to you to repair.

I've never had any success repairing those. I just buy a new one.

The nozzle area is where Big A mattresses develop a leak, when that occurs infrequently. I sent one in for warranty repair (same problem). It was replaced promptly without a question.

Bags4266 is absolutely correct about this...

If its a hole or tear on the skin it's up to you to repair.

Use the patch kit they provided if you're dealing with the latter. It will easily fix a hole or tear in the skin.
