The picnic pavilion run by the Tyringham Fire Department is no longer available for overnight camping. The Companion has listed this as a possible overnight option, but it is closed as of this fall. We have updated ALDHA regarding this change, and hopefully the pavilion will not be included in the next version.
Next closest camping opportunities are Shaker campsite (2.9m South) and Upper Goose Pond Cabin (6.2m North). Signage regarding the closure will be posted at these two locations and at the Tyringham Main Rd Trailhead next spring.
