Hi everybody. I was wondering if anyone had used aftermarket hipbelt pockets that worked particularly well. The ones from MLD look nice but I heard mixed reviews on BPL. I have a golite Pinnacle with hipbelt pockets and love them. I would like to get some that I can put on my older and much lighter Jam2 as well as my venerable Osprey load haulers(highlander and finesse) that still occasionally see use when the situation warrants it. While weight is always a concern, with something this small I would pay a slight weight penalty for superior performance. Thanks for any feedback

I'm in the process of adding these to my Catalyst: http://www.amazon.com/FuelBelt-Ripstop-Pocket-Black-Medium/dp/B001P9EW90/ref=sr_1_10?ie=UTF8&qid=1294929164&sr=8-10

Very light, come in 3 different sizes and waterproof.

The zipper is also easy to manage with gloves on.

Gossamer gear has some. I have them on non Gossamer gear as well as my Mariposa.

Good find 10-K. I was just looking for a waterproof zippered pouch to keep my camera and maps on my shoulder strap.

hey 10-K: great find, I like the looks of those beltpacks, I have a pair of Gossamer Gear beltpockets on my Deuter ACT Zero 60+10 pack, they work good but aren't waterproof, I may tryout these Fuelpacks. Do you know the volume sizes for small, med, and large? I couldn't find that info at the amazon link

thanks

I bought a couple of relatively inexpensive units from Campmor --- these are a bit heavier, but not THAT heavy at the end of the day, and offer more volume.

The particular product I bought doesn't show up on their website now, but this product (http://www.campmor.com/outdoor/gear/Product___42223)might work for you.

Here you go: http://www.fuelbelt.com/s.nl/sc.2/category.2394/.f

They've got several items besides the beltpacks that are handy. I use one of the neoprene holders to carry my phone - works great.

I'm trying to figure out if I need a wrist pocket or not. :)

I've been using a fuelbelt for a few years on my longer runs, and lately on trail runs. Don't know why it never dawned on me to adapt some of the accessories to my pack.
