I do know of one (Famous Smoke Shop) but would be quite a bit off the trail at Wind Gap in PA. What kind of cigars do you like?

I like the occasional nice smoke, 8$ range, or higher. One or two a month, tops. Just trying to figure where I can find some; i may put a few in the very few maildrops I'm doing, but it would be nice to find a shop here and there. How far up the trail in Wind Gap? I may stay at the Travel Inn there.

There's a good one in Carlisle PA, not too far off the Trail.

Less, it's about 13 miles south of Wind Gap. I have a friend who works there. I would be happy to be a cigar trail angel :) (I live in Wind Gap if you should need any shuttle service).

Rural areas favor chew over quality cigars. Consider switching to RedMan or Copenhagen chewing tobacco.

You won't find find anything classier than chew in Roan Mt./Elk Park....but if you hitch further up to Boone there's Smokes 'n' More.

They probably associate cigars with humans, which means theres food around.

I'm guessing a lit pipe might also attract bears if they associate that with humans. I can't say having seen any pipe smokers on the trail.
I once brought one but kinda never got in the mood for it.
