Needs Gap Weather

Want to head out for an overnighter tomorrow 1/15/11. Anyone know road conditions getting up to Neels Gap? Did they get ice along with snow or just snow?

I'm not afraid of the cold just not gonna attempt driving up the road if they have ice.

You'll be fine. There is ice but just drive slow.

But if you are going north to Tesnatee or Hogpen Gaps you need to know that SR 348 is closed.

I'm sitting over in Chattanooga now and there is still ice/snow on the ground, so I'm sure there's some at Neel's Gap area. Just be alert and act responsibly.
