I bought some olive green nylon fabric from the discount rack at Joann's today. The label says:

"PPK3 Waterproof Taffetta 100% Nylon"

It is not particularly shiny or slippery, has no obvious "grid" ripstop pattern, and I can't blow through it. I've had it stretched over the top of an upside-down glass of water for an hour or so - no leaks. I don't have any means of weighing it.

What are some good uses for this stuff? I have just under 8 yards.
