I can't take it anymore. :)
I'm headed to Iron Mt. Gap here in about an hour and am going to do a short overnighter back to Erwin.
Hope to get to Indian Grave Gap by nightfall.

brrr . . . I'm sure it will be cold. It is snowing at the other Iron Mt Gap where I am going for a short hike to the Dam. Have Fun.

I did a mini-trip report in that forum.
From Iron Mt. Gap to Indian Grave Gap there is heavy snow, particularly from IMG to the top of Unaka Mt.
You can follow my footprints - I'm sure they're still there as cold and windless as its been - enjoy the circles I made looking for the trail. :)
