Up here in N Va. May and Early June are awesome, still coolish in the evenings and warm but not too much so in the daytime.By late June the humidity comes in and visibility in SNP suffers by early July you can cut the air with a knife

How about humidity?

Normally not bad at all in early June.

If you're hiking in the Grayson Highlands as suggested in one of your other threads, it'll still be pleasantly cool at those higher elevations.

Pretty much the same in Central Va. I would say almost an ideal time for hiking, although some of the early wildflowers will be gone.

check it out. Just subtract approx 10 degrees per 1000 ft in height.

Early June is kinda shoulder season here, could be in the 50s at night, could be 90s during the day probably be in the 70s though. Best guess would be highs in the low 80s lows in the mid 60s.
