I know this isn't hiking related, but I know there are alot of kayakers on WB and I thought this was totally jaw dropping! Check it out!

I did a drop of 20-25 feet on the Bottom Moose River in NY. (Agers Falls) and many others of similar heights through out New England. The mind set is intense. you, your group studies the drop, and you will send logs or an unmaned kayak over the edge to see what happens, Repeat it many times. It's not just stupid or crazy but calculated and daring. You just don't decide to run a drop. you build up to it obviously they did. It's scary to people who can't imagine it could be done. But hey we did land on the moon.
Says allot about character, and confidence.
You do a deep soul search when your sitting above a drop. You get in position to run your line. You have the skills, you have the right safety group with you, now it's courage, and experience that lets you huck yourself over something like this.
Good stuff, never stop pushing limits. Just know yours..
