I have an Eddie Bauer down parka jacket and I got a hole in the liner (the interior of the jacket) which I didn't notice at first but it leaked some down.
Tried to do some research and the best I came up with was to get a repair kit. I got a Coleman tent repair kit and a bottle of airstop vinyl repair. Does this sound like it would work? Currently the hole is plugged with duct tape. Any advice?
Also wondering if I should try to get some more down for it before doing anything. Again I looked at old posts which had some links but some of them are now bad links or sold out. Should I get more down? What kind? How much? Any suggestions? Do I have to order it online or are there places that sell it? I don't think the coat leaked a lot but it's hard to say and it does seem a little less warm than before.
Thanks in advance.
