I set my ULA conduit down too close to a fire and i burned the back of my conduit. The part that contacts my back. It didnt burn a hole but its hard and dark now, very brittle. does anyone know how i might patch this?

a picture sure would help the diagnosis. my guess without seeing the damage is that you need to cut out the bad spot, dress the cut out edges with a light layer of silicone or tear mender, let that cure and then hand stitch a patch in place. make sure hem the patch at least a quarter inch to give it substance when sewing it onto the edge of the cutout.
