I surrender.

Tons of snow here in NJ is great except I left my x-country skis in PA!

Lots of snow means fewer rocks to trip over. Of course, lots of snow usually means a lot more work/mile (especially if you need snowshoes and the snow is deep powder - you end up picking up a couple of pounds of it on each shoe with each step).
Another plus- you can often level your own tentsite and don't have to worry (too much) about sticks and rocks. Bring extra line to tie off the stake loops to tree trunks or deadmen anchors buried in the snow.

I hear we may be able to see the ground by June!

BTW- 40% chance of more snow this weekend

I wonder what the hiking trails are like in Aruba?

I don't live far from NJ, I'm on Long Island.
My neighbor measured 19 inches of new snow from last night's storm in her yard.
I think it's safe to say that there'll be plenty of water along the trail in this area when Spring gets here.

Yes, plenty of water for drinking and fording :).

I'm loving this snow in NJ! Got a pair of snowshoes for x-mas and have gotten to use them a lot in the WMA behind my house. Heading up to Harriman with em this weekend =)

K-man have fun with your snowshoes. I'm out in PA where it's been snowing all morning. I'll be heading out on my x-country skis. Love this weather. Forget Aruba :D

Don't yet own snowshoes or XC skis, but I am going downhill skiing for a couple of weeks shortly.
