Let's face it. When we aren't out hiking, we sometimes find ourselves doing other things...like work. I'm guessing there are a few like me that work in a office.

Attached to that office is a warehouse. I find myself walking from that office to the warehouse several times a day.

I've wore some Chameleon EVO's for the past year or so and they are fantastic, but other than them becoming more of a trail shoe, I would like to find something that works better with khaki's and just as comfortable so when the senior leadership team comes down I can quickly change from jeans.

Looking for some suggestions on what you guys and gals are wearing.

I've attached a link of some Keen Briggs II that are my top pick at the moment.

These are far and away the most comfortable dress shoes I have ever owned...the leather is so soft that there is no breaking them in...they sell them at Dillards:

I've worn various pairs of clarks as business casual shoes since graduating college. They are a bit expensive. I feel like they've fixed my feet.

I"m partial to Limmer oxfords (http://www.limmerboot.com/Oxford.html). They're not the cheapest, but will last a lifetime. Purchasing these from out-of-state will be difficult. They really want you to come into the store so they can fit you.

Their website is lousy. You won't be able to navigate to their homepage from the link, above. Here's the homepage (http://www.limmerboot.com/).

New Balance make some walking shoes. One of 'em is USPS approved for uniform wear. It comes in both black and brown.

I just bought a pair of those Keens (or a similar model) on sale yesterday. Very comfortable in the store, can't wait to wear them at work.

That said, I walk a lot at work, and often wear my trail runners.

I haven't worn those but they look nice enough to be worn with khakis. And they look comfortable.

Personally I wear VFF's at work and senior management never complains (I run personal training in 2 gyms and I am senior management):D

I wear Keen PTC's for my very conservative business casual bank job. I'm an ex chef, so I groove on their semi-clog look.

There's a lot of guys who wear Solomon Trail runners here at work with both Khaki's and jeans. Multiple colors available.

I've used Keens for years teaching high school. Very comfortable and they look good. Models keep changing.

I know that Merrell has some nice casual shoes. I did a little browsing and the Men's Encore caught my eye. Over the years I've had good experience with their products.

After trying on shoes at about a million places I came back to the Briggs II. They were the most comfortable in the store so we'll see how long they hold up. Now my Chameleon's are 'official' trail shoes instead of "hurry up and clean these up for work tomorrow' shoes.

I have a few pairs of Keens and Clarks, both comfortable and I'm on my feet all day.
