Lid for Sea to Summit X-mug

I love my X-mug, but hate how my coffee gets cold really fast. I figured a lid of some type would help retain the heat.

I noticed the drink cup lid we got from a recent outing that looked like it was just the right size. Lo and behold, it fits inside the rim of the X-mug perfectly! In fact the lid fits between the ribs when the cup is collapsed.

I wouldn't want to shake it with hot coffe inside, but the fit is pretty good. I have tried it with hot liquids in the mug and the lid stayed firmly attached.

By the way, anyone have any ideas or suggestions on how to make the measurement markings easier to read?

Now that I have a lid, making the markings more readable is my next issue to solve.
