Anyone else planning to go? NOBOers are welcome, too. i guess:p
FWIW one could actually hike in - for NOBOs head west from any of near Pearisburg, north end of SNP, or Harpers to cut over to Great Eastern Trail to Finger Lakes/North Country Trail which puts you closer to the WG race course than you might be able to drive on the Independence Day weekend. :)

Milk and Honey here, planning on going to at least one of the nights. Hopefully by that time a few more hikers and angels will organize a shuttle near trail. Woot!

Phish have announced a 4 night stint at WG - June 30th thru July 3rd

nothing is truely official but ill see yas there only im gonna try catch a ride from there to the long trail start hopefuly.. but it probly will be droppd.
Going NOBO, but will be jumping off the trail to attend for sure, even if I have to bus in (or hitch). Just another small example of what we heads from the western states have to go through to catch a Phish show. No big deal. Just gotta hike in from GA! But hey, at least we got Festival 8, right? even if watkins isnt a posibility for ya phish tour is southeast in erly summer u should be able to pull meriweather shows in maryland http://phish.com/... i was thrown off by fest 8.... i caught star lake during my thru hike on the reunion tour... since the road hasnt been finish for me destiny unbound ha..

WG sounds like an awesome festival, but june 30th-3rd seems to put us pretty far off
if all goes well we will be attending gathering of the vibes in CT. july 21-24. FURTHUR!

Im still contemplating pushing my start date back a few weeks until after the festival. I dont have any idea how I would get to Baxter SP however. thats a long hitch...

Looks like im headed up to WG for Super Ball 9! Im crossing the fingers to get a solid hitch up to at least Hanover, NH.
Sounds like an adventure - Im in!
