Cat food cans reign supreme in hiker lore. You can create your own fancy feast with nothing more than a paper hole puncher and a little denatured. Warm the tea, heat the noodles, refresh the soul. I'm starting to tingle all over....... are you?

I carry canned chicken often. The empty can weighs the same as a pouch most of the time. And I can get it cheaper. Valley Fresh is my choice and always get the pop-top for ease!

I love sardines too, in olive oil. Then you can pour that delicious fishy oil on your tortellini.

ice ice baby just hit the nail on the head. i think we all can admit mrs moore was our first trail love. shes tryed and tru and red white and blue and even spilled in a crack eats like glue. nothing destroys appitite quite the same. what with her bad afterbreath and all. on the list of the top ten worst kissing foods, its up there. you smell like a dog after alpo. you do know dinty in the greek means alpo witch in latin means horse witch in court spells arrest dont you? mmmmmm mr ed.
