I just returned from a short shake down hike to check out some new gear in colder weather. The Neo air, 15* down bag and I seem to be compatible. But my tent, a Big Agness Seedhouse 2 SL was a minor let down. After a night of continuous rain, the ridge seam and part of the floor allowed water to soak through. This tent has been in service for three seasons and a total of about 60 days / nights. It has taken a lot of UV exposure. I'll be treating it, I was just wondering if my experience is typical.

I'd say yes, if you use equipment often it'll get wear and tear. If you need to keep your gear for a long time like me you learn to maintain the stuff.
Just seam seal all stitching, if it's wicking right through the floor then it's called pressure wicking (looks like a big damp spot under your pad) and you can stop that by using a waterproof foot print for the floor of your tent. For my program tents I use 2 foot prints 1 inside the other on the ground. Anything worse then replace it.
